The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Looking to build a +1/+1 counter deck centering around the newer Hydras. So far this is what I've put together, but I know I need to cut out/cut down on some cards for some sort of removal/counter spell, or if you just see anything that could help it improve overall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. *Edit* It will now be centering around Sage of Hours.

How to Play

Get as many counters on the Hydras as possible, Bioshift them to Heros Bane to double up on the counters, then Bioshift them again onto the Sage. You can also feed hydras to Scourge that way you have a beefy ass hydra to swing with. Prophet, Kalonian,
Vastwood, Vorel and Aetherize are in here for the obvious reasons. Solidarity of Heroes is freakin awesome for this deck too.

I was thinking about that too, not being able to bioshift the counters from him to sage, but I can always feed it to the Scourge for that, but yeah, that Kalonian is a pretty sweet card, will definitely look into getting a couple.

Hmm, yeah, that Vastwood would be awesome in here, and a good replacement for Mistcutter, since he has Prot from Blue and I can't Bioshift to or from him. Thanks for the Advice!

Anyone know of any other cards that let you move all counters from one target to another that is Standard Legal?

Master Biomancer would help you getting the counters onto Sage of Hours and get extra turns. The Biomancer would also give all your creatures +1/+1 counter equal to its power.

Kiora as a 2 of could be helpful, basically bubbles a creature every turn

Yeah you should definetly add some Kalonian Hydras and Master Biomancers. I have a similiar deck. Feel free to take a look, you might get some ideas from it. :) http://www.mtgvault.com/deathclaw360/decks/ridiculous-amount-of-counters/

I'd take out unexprected results and put in another Vorel and 2 Bow of Nylea. Simic charm is nice too. Buff up your Sage and put a counter on it, or give ur stuff hexproof to protect from kill spells.
If you're into combo type stuff, you can always use master biomancer, use bow of nylea or give//take to get 3 counters on it, then Species Gorger or Roaring Primadox. That puts Master biomancer at 5 power. Species Gorger and Roaring Primadox make you return a creature to your hand at the beginning of your upkeep. Play Sage of hours. Sage enters with 5 counters from master biomancer. Gorger/Primadox return it to your hand during your extra turn. Play Sage again and take extra turns indefinitly.
Hopefully that all made sense :P

You could switch out slitherhead for experiment one, who would get huge as the hydras came out. You could also check out my newest deck, which I really need feedback for, at http://www.mtgvault.com/milo1234/decks/deadeye-spam/ Thanks!
