Deck Description

a deck I built for tribal with under $20
Inspired by a friend that only runs green and white decks and honestly I wanted to build this Elk deck because I love so much of this card art

How to Play

It's very easy to run and it plays smoothly. It doesn't take much to figure this one out. Mana comes easily and you can get some pretty big hits in if you pair Glimmerpoint Stag, Great Stable Stag or Axebane Stag with a Celestial Archon and/or an Enlarge. The instants also make for a good low mana cost defence.

The most appealing thing about the deck though is that it is less then $20

Living the elk-y dream and on a budget on top of that, really cool! :)
I'm not sure whether or not it actually fits in the deck, but how about the new 2/1 for 1G & gain 2 life elk in Khans? Also the Bandage seems a little one-dimensional, it does draw a card and saves the Golden Hind from any sort of 1dmg ping, but wouldn't something along the lines of a God's Willing have more utility throughout the entire game without entirely sacrificing a card advantage?

I personally feel more confident in Golden Hind and Dawntreader Elk then in the new Highland Game from Khans. With the low mana cost creatures gaining mana is really important for getting the big players out early.

God's willing isn't a bad idea though, and i will probably switch two of my Bandage with two Gods Willing to see if it fits, but I don't want to take out all of my Bandage because it keeps the deck running faster if i have some cards that let me draw. Also, all week I've been enjoying this deck and the protection from one damage has actually been a real help agains low power creatures with flying, tokens, burn cards and creatures that one up me with trample. Bandage really helps to keep me up longer so I can make my big plays and make them sooner with the extra cards I draw.
