Deck Description

Mana accelerate to drop your Sigil Captain and Bramblewood Paragons. Then play your 1/1's. They become big creatures with trample. Elvish Promenade and Hunting Triad compounds the situation by making a ton of 1/1 warriors that gain the benefits of both Sigil Captain and Bramblewood Paragon.

With Ranger of Eos, it is usually best to search for Rhys and Soul Wardens, or Llanowar Elves if you're mana screwed.

Use Shield of the Oversoul to keep your Sigil Captain alive. If he dies the deck will have a hard time winning. Rhys is also a suitable target.

Safehold Elite cannot die while a Sigil Captain is alive due to its persist ability.

This deck is meant to be somewhat of an economy deck; the rares are cheap and easy to find (Ranger of Eos, Rhys).

Mighty Emergence is something I'm tinkering with. It could give 7/7 tramples if you have a Sigil Captain and two Bramblewood Paragons. The circumstances might be too specific for it to be useful.

Safehold elite will still die even with sigil captain on the field. When persist kicks in, SE returns as a 2/2 with 2 +1/+1 counters, and a -1/-1 counter. Persist will only activate again if there is no negative counter on SE when it is sent to the graveyard again.

I run a Green/White Sigil Captain +Elf token deck as well, and I didn't notice this until I tried it out myself.

This looks like a lot of fun. Bummer about the Safehold Elite combo wouldn't work; I would probably scrap those for a warrior or enchantment/artifact removal. Pretty sweet token deck.

If you were going to drop the Elites, I'm a fan of Drove of Elves with all of the tokens. Just a thought. :)
