this is the closest i've got that i actually have put together (still missing two primordial hydras though :/ ) run's mostly just for fun against my buddies. it's always fun when godsire pops out turn five or six

Parallel Lives or doubling season all the way on this one

also, not sure why you're running reins of power, maybe control magic would give you something closer to what you're looking for?

more showstopper, also maybe carnage gladiator? Exava or Hammer of Purphoros for haste?

satyr firedancer for damage to player and creature control with your magma jet? (i also like searing blood for this)

Satyr Firedancer + Searing Blood/ Lightning Strike/ Bolt of Keranos/Magma Spray

(Searing Blood is my favorite for this if you're not trying for anything too competitive) also Elite Arcanist is sort of nice for recurrence.

And you can never have enough doom blades in my opinion.

Also if this isn't for competitive play i also like Asphyxiate and Fall of the Hammer

If you're going to play with zombies and humans with W/B, Conspiracy(Human) + Xathrid Necromancer + Sac Outlet (I like Ashnod's Altar), that will make your champion of the parish +infinity/+infinity, add a soul warden for infinite life

also necromancer's covenant is a lot of fun and good for graveyard hate

To get down to 60 from where you are I would say 2 Ghoulraisers and 1 Skaab Goliath

definitely looking for feedback on this one, since it pretty much stops working if I can't manage to get a buried alive in my opening hand, and entomb's are a little out of my price range to be a possibility

The deck will be updated in roughly two weeks or so with the release of Born of the Gods, Akroan Hoplites to be replaced with Archetypes of Courage and Aggression, and possibly Brimaz if i'm lucky. Love to hear input/feedback if anyone out there has any, always looking to improve

also, the copying is only done with the rite of flame combo, which generally allows me to get my high drops anyway, and as long as i have a gemstone array, i've got infinite mana of any color for the rest of the game

thanks for your input! i've been able to test run it and it does run pretty well, usually i don't have too many problems as i can drop something small like the izzet guildmage out around turn two, because i can always tutor or vault up another one if need be. and speed wasn't really the intention, as i only play casual with some of my friends. but it is true that those first four turns or so tend to put the hurt on, though i tend to make up for it with infinite mana by turn six in a casual game.
