If you add Sundial of the Infinite you can use it to skip the side effects of LoT's ETB trigger.

This almost feels like it wants to be Naya Heroic, maybe some Favored Hoplites and Ordeal of Heliods in here?

I'm not sure how that is offensive, it's just the definition of what a Spike is. I'm not necessarily trying to say that this is how you are, I don't know you. It just seemed to be that there was some debate as to what a Spike really is, so I went and grabbed the definition.

"Spike is the competitive player. Spike plays to win. Spike enjoys winning. To accomplish this, Spike will play whatever the best deck is. Spike will copy decks off the Internet. Spike will borrow other players’ decks."

i run a yasova edh that does a pretty good job of playing everyone else's deck for them, as it can take any kind of permanent and uses combos such as the one above

honestly my favorite combo for creature theft is Bazaar Trader + Act of Treason Effects.

You take their creature with Act of Treason, then activate Bazaar trader's ability targeting the stolen creature and gifting it to yourself. This creates a permanent override to the return at the end of the turn clause on the act of treason effect. Conjurer's Closet or any flicker ability can do the same thing.

You might want to consider Goblin Fireslinger as an option as a pinger. You also might consider putting in sadistic glee or eternal thirst, allows you to power-pump your creature(s) the more things you kill

been doing a little revamping, newer list will be up soon. probably will be 3x anticipate and no treasure cruise, since anticipate doesn't actually generate card advantage and no treasure cruise since i have 2x dig through time.

well, the quantity i chose is based of the ptq winning deck that this one is based off of, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the right choice for this deck, do you have any suggestions for what i could put in instead?

Hunted Horror should be in this deck!

I've got to say it really is a lot of fun to play, the only real issue i sometimes run into is playing my coursers (the double green tends to be tricky in some games, even though i'm running more green than i should be lol). but i definitely recommend giving it a playtest or two, and if you're looking for a standard deck that's reasonably strong and most people won't be expecting for Game day this could be your ticket

Let me start by saying thank you for your input, i'm always looking for ways to improve my game and getting suggestions are the best way to do that.

i'm not gonna put two stormbreaths in, i did do some testing with them though, pushes me a little too far into the midrange end of the pool, and having the dissipates instead makes a big difference. But i might put one in though to placehold until i get my hands on a second Atarka.

I used to run 4 of the Silumgar's Scorns as well in the early phases of testing, but i'm not running enough dragons to have them consistently be Counterspell (probably would want to have 8-10 dragons for that), and i've played a couple times at FNM where they've ended up being Force Spike as is with three of them, which is partially why I'm adding a second Dragonlord Atarka when I can get my hands on one.

Maybe Preyseizer Dragon instead of Voracious Dragon? I do see the benefit of the etb damage on Voracious though, just a thought. Also if you like dragony things check this out and let me know what you think if you'd like:

that's a good point... was mostly looking at the efficiency aspect. in the case of soldier tokens you definitely want to be polymorphing as many as possible. however in the situation where one or more of your wurms have died already you may not want to be exiling all of the 3-9 5/5 tokens that the worldspines dying generated, when that happens you're almost losing more value than you're gaining.

I would definitely suggest running Dissolve over Negate. Having a hard counter that also lets you scry for things you need for only one extra U is much better. On the note of scrying I would also suggest running 2-3 Temple of Deceits and you should also do some testing with anticipate, the cheap card selection could be very helpful for you.
