playing lands as much as possible so as to activate the creature ability landfall, which does a variety of things depending on the creature and is triggered whenever a land enters the battlefield. if you read some of the cards northern put in the deck you should be able to get the idea

could use some tweaking but you've got the right idea. what is the purpose of the typhoid rats? their presence confuses me, also thassa might work better than the ethereal usher, as scry every turn could be better than transmute one, or maybe mystic speculation instead, since buyback could give the repeated casting needed for the spellweaver helix

Once again I am impressed with the quality of these decks you come up with, really love the use of Roil Elemental, very cool synergy you have going in this one.

That being said, I have a challenge for you. I ran across an interesting card interaction that I'd like to see an actual deck built with, but am stumped as to where to go beyond the base card interaction. Doesn't have to be budget but it would be cool if it worked out to be. The cards are:

Spellweaver Helix
Kin-Tree Invocation
Raven's Crime
any creature with a big butt (tree of redemption comes to mind)

Hope to see it happen and good luck if you choose to accept. Happy deckbuilding regardless.

You might consider feed the clan over heroes' reunion, it doesn't need two colors, and while it does need ferocious you'll have it no problem with the pridemates on the field, i would also switch two of the hopeful eidolons for two more soul wardens.

haha yup, will prolly just keep the tormenting voice, that's the problem with red is that it doesn't have a lot of true draw, 90% comes with a price such as looting/rummaging, best red draw imo is browbeat

Very well done, I would suggest High Sentinels of Arashin for sideboard instead of hushwing gryff, since it synergizes better with your deck. And personally I like Revoke Existence better than solemn offering (but that's largely a preference thing, and the +4 life in a long-game deck can certainly be better)

haha i agree on the hair pulling lol, i have a friend who used to run a full set in his boros deck much to my constant annoyance, but i thought i'd point out the card in case you hadn't seen it before

i mean, flying is faux-unblockable anyway, and predator is hasty which helps evade removal in the absence of the cloaks

done and done, i didn't realize there was a common variant on that, and i wouldn't call it cheating, especially if you're allowing the original planeswalkers to fly
