I would say remove exhume and carrion rats. Carrion rats won't do much for you and your opponent will benefit more from exhume than you will. Add in 7 lands so you have 22 total, and add 1 Doom Blade. Also, gnat miser is kind of weak.... I feel like there are better things you can do (my personal favorite would be chittering rats. I absolutely love that card. Plus you don't have any 3 drops).

Glad people like it XD To be honest, I just play with my friends and it's my birthday so theyre pitching in a bit of cash each to get this for me. The lands are the best I can come up with for a budget. i rly dont want them paying much. A mikaues is stretching it XD More solemn simulacrums are needed but expensive. Undying birthing pod is already pretty meta I think. havent been closely following magic. Hope this makes it to the top voted section =)

If you want to use this kind of a deck:

be careful about keeping creatures with mana costs 1-6. You need them to keep the pod going. undying keeps them alive. mimic vat synergizes like breasts and my mouth with pod, not to mention all of the "come into play" and "leaves play" effects in this deck.

When playing the deck:

fairly stadard. Search for what you need, not what you want. Adapt to your opponent. Also, don't be afraid to pod a copy from mimic vat or token from wakedancer. It will let you start a new pod chain, giving more options, and may even trigger a death effect.

Enjoy!

how will you keep other people from killing you with trade secrets? You can't play spells or activate abilities between each trigger, if i am correct, so playing that will make you mill yourself to death if your opponent knows they can

been a while since ive checked up on my account XD yeah, i actually own this deck now. my budget win't allow for sol rings, but i managed to add in etherium sculptors in place of some steel hellkites and a fabricate. It works great in the deck if you want more speed.

thanks. I like your deck a lot. It isn't exactly what I was going for, but it definitely looks like I can improve my deck with some themes from that one. thx

I'll be playing with friends. But yeah, that is a good idea. I don't like how sturmgeists don't guarantee a draw, and if they were to they wouldn't be able to block. They both have their own uses. I was hoping to be able to use both. I will take that into consideration though. Thanks!

the only reason i have 2 instead of 4 is because utopia sprawl only works on forests, so I would rather not have too many non-forest lands. And yeah, I want more lands too. Having trouble diguring out what needs to be taken out. Thanks for the help though

thanks! i think i might just do that. Those things are kinda costly though.... might not actually buy. i am a bit worried about the land/non-land ratio though. taking out a snake umbra now for that.

asceticism might be a nice addition. It would suck to go up against a control deck and have your big creatures that you worked to get out rocked.

Is the X in postmortem 0? I'm not sure what the ruling would be with rage extractor. Does anybody know?

I agree with this. Maybe have more fabricates in there, with some lightning greaves to protect him? Without that painter's servant, the only hope you seem to have is that your opponent plays a blue deck. I like the concept though, and overall I'd say it's well done.

galvanoth isnt very good cuz it can make u cast fireballs and red suns with X as 0, so you should prob take them out. seething songs and desperate rituals wouldnt hurt either
