Deck Description

I'm a control and grindy player by heart, and I wanted to throw the two together and see how they hold up.

How to Play

Goyf will always be the best BLUE creature ever printed, and although it doesn't shine in this deck, it's still a reliable 2 mana threat that can get out of hand if left unchecked.

Snapcaster, Cryptic don't really need to be explained, just value town there.

Tasigur, on it's own isn't amazing, but recurring value spells just allows you to get more value out of them.

Courser of Kruphix is another value creature, that can gain me life, as I've found that in some games you just don't have enough early pressure to deal with a mass swarm of creatures, and Courser can always block early threats, preserving our life total. They can also provide us with some card advantage if we have lands on top of our deck.

Counter spells and removal, are some of the best utility cards in their fields, and nothing costs more than 4 so the slightly lower than normal land count works out nicely.

Serum Visions is a must in this deck, it puts an early Sorcery in the yard for Goyf so that a turn 2 Goyf generally can't get Bolted.
