this deck seems like it would be far more effective and twice as constant if it was just mono red but thats just my opinion

Ahhh good point i dont know what i was thinking anyway i think i will build something similar to this, anyway how has the deck been playing i assume you have been doing a lot of testing for the Qualifier whats an average hand look like for you? what turn can you generally win?

Looks solid i dont think it needs anything just be sure to hold onto a swerve just in case i normally sideboard in telemin performance just in-case i run into creature less decks, but honestly i dont think they will ever get to play it this deck looks like it could kill on turn 4-5 consistently am i right? anyway like i said it looks good i hope you win.

Good Luck.

maybe you should run some Halimar Depths that way when Living Tsunami is in play you get a to play a land with a cool effect instead of just replaying an island every time.

Although i dont think we will see a deck like this winning the pro-tour anytime soon i do think your on to something here Esper-Colors, and Necromancer's Covenant also i like the originality of this deck do you know how it plays against anything other than vamps yet?

I agree with Smc1215 you are not really hitting for that much when you think about it, if you factor in that they may have removal (Jund being a good example) then you might not be keeping most of what you play.

have you played this yet? im wondering how it plays against Jund and Mythic and U/W Tapout it looks solid although im not the biggest fan of Vengevine im not sure if its worth 30bucks i guess it might become way worth it when Alara Block drops out anyway if you get to play it against any of the above listed i would love to know about it.

Ohhh and i just saw this 2 Glimmervoid: At end of turn, if you control no artifacts, sacrifice Glimmervoid. T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. it fits the theme so it might be worth running.

Fist of Suns, will make door more playable Etched Oracle fits the theme and will let you draw cards Crystal Quarry is just plain awesome and along with Channel the Suns, Fertile Ground, Kaleidostone, and Orochi Leafcaller which is a filter creature that turns green into any color and Mana reflection wouldn't hurt either. these are the cards i was working with while making a Fist of Suns deck i like that Joiner Adept maybe you should run some sort of search card to pull him out and maybe some Fabricate 's to get your doors and i agree with LordStrongpaw (nice name BTW) if you are playing any sort of multi-player or anyone that runs artifact hate you may need a way to Recycle your doors, i think you have a cool idea here we once had the most ridiculous multi-player board ever and i was armed with an artifact deck that had Door to Nothingness eventually the game ended in a 3 way draw, you have a good amount of control but you do lack the offense if you can get out your Silent Arbiter and keep him in play you will be good but maybe you should run 8 of the artifact lands (in this case Seat of Synod and Tree of Tales) and maybe Master of Etherium just my 2 cent's also just something i noticed Your best Defense is Wall of Denial but you cant cast it in your current set-up without a Joiner Adept and that means its a dead card in your hand till you draw one i wouldn't want to rely on that maybe you could also run 4 Ancient Den's just in case, anyway i hope this helped a little and good luck =)

Hey nice deck good to see someone playing mill, i am currently browsing mill decks trying to make one for a bet, anyway i would try to cut down to 60 cards as it makes it easier to pull cards you really need. there are some cards i have to recommend but... the names have slipped my mind (sorry) when i remember them i will post them.

Im rather found of this combo with Spawnsire of Ulamog which with infinite mana lets you use his last ability to :Cast any number of Eldrazi cards you own from out side the game with out paying their mana costs. Just an alternative way of doing things buy then again you could also just splash red and use a fireball or something along those lines.

The combo use's Filigree Sages, Training Grounds, and Khalni Gem (or Everflowing Chalice) and works like this: With all the above listed cards in play you can, Tap Khalni Gem for 2 Blue mana than use Filigree Sages ability which is now reduced by 2 colorless mana (thanks to Training Grounds) to untap Khalni Gem, this leaves you with 1 extra Blue mana and an untaped Gem to repeat the process with.

Cool deck i have a friend that runs Kresh as his genneral he can get scary when you start devouring stuff. i rated it a ten because you dont see many "stranded" EDH decks at least not many good ones.

i disagree with Mglass61 (not about the Lighting Bolt thing, spot on with that) but when playing a pure burn deck it works out quit well i cast Shock then i cast Shock thats 1 quest counter then i cast rift bolt and Another rift bolt 2 quest counters then the punishment begins... as for Punishing Fire i haven't really got to use it very much but i only have 1 in the deck so...

anyway thats a pretty cool deck +1
