Basically the point of the deck is to defeat someone with three simultaneous state based actions: 1. A player loses the game when he or she has 0 or less life. 2. A player loses the game when he or she is forced to draw a card from his or her library and cannot. 3. A player loses the game when she or he has 10 or more poison counters.

It's really the sadistic sacrament that helps it go off, since you can exile up to thirteen cards, and you can just do the exact amount you need. You do have to finish them off with the Caress of Phyrexia though...
