Obviously susceptible to sideboard removal like surgical extraction / graveyard control, but this is just a funny casual way of winning the game through an underused novelty.You will always have your 1 drop apostle, you can often sacrifice them for some extra card draw, grab yourself salvage by turn 3 using dark ritual draw almost half your deck and then play mortal combat to auto-win. Tons of vulnerabilities, but no less hilarious. The stable and consistent way of playing mortal combat is definitely more control-centered with fogs, counters, etc, but dropping this for kitchen counter games is entertaining.
