Deck Description

Fast Mill deck. As it is, it can stand against those nasty lightspeed aggro decks with a good win ratio (tested against G/R infect, R Goblins and W humans) . If you find yourself facing a a slower opponent you may customize it with some heavier mana cost spells such as:

- Haunting Echoes
- Traumatize
- damnation
-nemesis of reason
-Mirko
-Jace
-circu dimir etc

you can win with painter's/grindstone combo but you'll find yourself ignoring it trust me! If you´re here it's because you like mill and if you like milling you'll want to glimpse and mind funeral the hell out of your friends =P

Quick note about Lim dul's vault: I can't understand how underated this card is. Not only it can put your combo out like a tutor as it can rearrange your next 5 spells in any order you like. plus you can repeat the process. not happy with 3 lands and a tome scour? try again! I can asure you I've fetched the combo or 2 glimpses+a funeral countless times.

Finaly, any constructive insight is more than welcome. Have fun!

How to Play

Pull out the combo = sure win
Mill mill mill = win plus you get to enjoy looking at your opponent sweating against the clock for certain doom =P

you got leyline for reanimators, trap for fetching ppl. Other than that you could mess around with this theme and give it a control vibe with mana leaks, circu dimir, propaganda and haunting echoes.

Deck discussion for Lib. Fitness!results in3turns!

Jeeeezus christ if you Grindstoned a mono deck would it just mill them out like that? Jace's Phantasm and some Liliana cards could be the balls in this deck! Nice job man, keep going!

yep a mono deck doesn't even need the painter's up (unless it has some artifacts), just grind =) and tkx!

I would absolutely hate that Grindstone card, especially since I have no artifact removal! Hahaha

PESTHOS:
I've learned the way's of legacy the hard way, so I know that controldecks with their counterspells, and reanimate and sneakshow is harder to fight than most other decks.

I fight control by having 12 opening mills, 4 tome scour, 4 dream twist and 4 shriekhorn. Their function is to mill something important away, that can then be removed with surgical extraction(extirpate).

In the case of your deck, I would suggest using 7 openers (Which is the minimum) and 4 surgical extractions as a way to rid your opponent of their belowed force of wills.

I'd suggest something along the lines of +4 surgical extraction, +3 memory sluice and -4 hedron crab and -3 glimpse the unthinkable.

Using leyline of the void against reanimate isn't enough, as they have at least 5 ways to remove that after sideboarding, so adding surgical extraction might be the main thing to stress.

Btw, you talked about memory sluice, would't be better something i can fully profit from? i mean the low dual mana cost is amazing but the conspire impossible to use. that's why I have the brainfreeze

The idea is for you to mill them at your turn 1 for the off chance that you have surgical in hand and you milled something of value. Brainfreeze isn't playable at turn 1, but it does work wonders with surgical's free-cost. I think brainfreeze is a meta-call, since it's not all decks it works well against.
