Deck Description

A budget-tribal-theme-rat-deck, that is supposed to make your opponent discard just enough for you to set up your game, after that, each additional discard will help you even more; Either you gain card advantage and the knowledge of your opponents hand, you make him/her lose life in addition, you draw a card or you add mana. The death of some of your creatures also causes discards, so does the 'entering the battlefield', and in addition you have the possibility of breating 2/2 zombies each time a creature dies, leaving you - in turn - with a wide range of possibilities :)

If anybody has any suggestions as to how I could make this deck just a little faster, I'd be glad to hear'em

How to Play

The general idea, is controlling the hand of your opponent, before he plays anything. The problem with this strategy, is that it still leaves him with unspent mana, which in turn means, that you will need another advantage. Tutor for 'liliana's caress' when low on board-dominance, or 'waste not' when in need of card-draw. Ideally spend as few discardspells as possible before having either of the two in play. If your have either of the discard spells in your opening hand, use one to let you get the advantage of knowing your opponents hand.

As soon as Pack rat is in play, pay, discard and create a copy on your opponents turn, to help you gain momentum (i.e. not dealing with summoning sickness, as well as leaving you with spare mana and let you see how their turn plays out).

Against aggro/tempo decks, this deck has the disadvantage of relying to much on the enchantments, which means that it isn't really effective before turn 4 or even 5. Considering the price of the deck, this is a fun and CHEAP little budget-tribal-theme-deck, and should only be considered as such.
It is in no way competitive, though it will bring you loads of fun playing, discarding, forcing discards and copying ;)
