Deck Description

Trying to build a budget B/W Exalted deck - cheap, but capable enough for casual play.

Goal:
The usual suspects like Silverblade Paladin and Sublime Archangel (which seem ridiculously pricey) are out. So the goal is to replace rares/mythic rares for similiar effects and tricks - weaker, but without the pricetag.

Description:
Creature heavy, fast deck - focused on taking advantage of the exalted bonus on evasive creatures.

Modus Operandi:
Essence Harvest to double the damage following an exalted boosted attack.
Oblivion Ring to pacify big ones, Cower in Fear to pacify small ones.
Tormented Soul and Vampire Nighthawk as primary targets of exalted boosts.

Questions:
- I'm not sure about the creature composition. Maybe I need a biggie like Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis?
- How to best counter board sweeps? I could add stuff like Safe Passage, Skeletal Grimace, Builder's Blessing or Dark Favor/Divine Favor? In that case, what to remove?

Suggestions are welcome!

How to Play

Essence Harvest to double the damage following an exalted boosted attack.

Oblivion Ring to pacify big ones, Cower in Fear to pacify small ones.

Deck discussion for Monochromatic Exaltedness

Well built, except that maybe you could struggle to play a one-drop if you have only so many colored lands, maybe up their number by 1 or 2. You could swap sublime for the enchantment that gives all creatures exalted (in addition to the one they already have, in this case). I don't remember the name and how must it costs, though. Also, maybe reduce the number of three-drops a little in favor of two- and one-drops (to lower your mana curve).

Thank you for the comment and suggestions.

- I guess it's Angelic Benediction you're suggesting as alternative to Sublime Archangel? Done.

- Good point on the land issue. I've added a swamp and a plain. Also: Godless Shrine and Isolated Chapel is out, way too expensive to buy. Instead I've added Orzhov Guildgate. Kept Cathedral of War as it's fairly cheap.
