a few options for the replacements you are looking for, tragic slip for cheap removal, curse of stalked prey for generating extra counters, and dreadbore is about the only option for cheap elimination, pretty sure there are no cheap life gain kill cards in standard... tribute to hunger is the only one coming to mind... and as it is a sacrifice card rather than kill card, prolly not a valid option : /
got a few new vampires today, this deck is prolly better than my zombies now :O
changed the name of my goblin deck : http://www.mtgvault.com/philosophios/decks/goblin-burnsacrifice/i also like using cards like uncanny speed, combined with a fling, you can hit pretty hard for real cheap :)and i generally run 30-40% land, depending on the amount of mana source or mana ramping in the deck
very nice deck, friend of mine has one like this, its strong for single and multi-player games :)
hey this deck reminds me of my goblin deck, similar play-style, perhaps you could get some ideas from looking at mine here : http://www.mtgvault.com/philosophios/decks/goblins/ - ends up doing combos for a ton of damage very early :)for example, you could spawn arc runner, attack for 5 damage, then fling for 5 more damage before the end step, and with that fire servant out it would do double damage for 10 for a total of 15 damage in one turn for 5 mana! (edit:math)
no way i'd drop the vampiric fury... but yea, i am working on getting more of the key vampires, this is just what i had laying around from boosters over the past couple weeks, definitely still a work in progress... thanks for the suggestions :)
