Thank you for the suggestions. I will make some changes in a few days when I get a chance to go to the card shop. I appreciate the help.

You are probably right. I had him in here for the swampcycle. I will probably take him out though. Thanks.

Indestructible would work out very well. I use something similar to the life link combo you mentioned. I cast Soul Link on him every now and then. If I have Mark of Asylum or Light of Sanction then the enchantment only works as a form of LifeLink, but if I don't have one of those enchantments out then Thrashing Wumpus may deal and receive as much damage as I can push through him until he dies, or just keep the damage low enough to keep him alive and gain enough to negate my opponents attacks. Though I use this method, your idea has given me a whole new deck concept. There are a lot of equipments that give indestructible and a lot that give lifelink, spells also. And there are a few other creatures that have pestilence. That could result in a very nasty solid black suicide style deck. I could make it fairly quick also. Thanks for the idea.

I agree. Need to trade for a few or just bite the bullet and buy em. I have a set in another deck but I like to keep my decks together as long as they work, keeps me from getting bored playing. Thank you for the help.

I really like how you built this deck. The counterspells work very well for you and I like the use of 4x Flames of the Blood Hand and 4x Past in Flames. Wee Dragonauts and Kiln Fiend also take great advantage of your spells.

I have a faster version that uses burn. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it if you took a look.

This build looks pretty cool. I would add 2 more Gelectrode and if you drop a few of the higher casting cost cards, you could use 4x Past in Flames to reuse some of your spells very well.

I do get a few nasty turns. 2x Life from the Loam works well in this deck with all the cycle lands and the strip mine that I have. And this deck hosts a few ways to control my opponents. I love Astral Slide and wanted a deck that used my Life from the Loams. This uses both and is very fun to play. Thanks for the comment. I might build another deck that uses morphing creatures. They could be any color and that opens a lot of doors.

Add a few Fluctuator, reduces cycle cost and when paired up with Library of Leng, it's like cheating :)

Primal Titan works well, 2x Sun Titan may work help you out more with cycling and keeping your primary cards in play.

You can also feed a cycle deck using Life from the Loam and cycle lands. I use 8 cycle lands in mine and they work well.

I really like the idea of using the Avenger of Zendikar. You could add Ruin Ghost to help with beefing up the tokens that the Avenger pumps out.

I hope these help. If you get a chance take a look at mine.

Adding 2x Sun Titan's will help with returning cards to your hands. I've noticed that My Eternal Witness's are greatly targeted.

Adding 1x Strip Mine can be another great way to trash lands.

This deck already has 4x Drifting Meadow and 4x Slippery Karst, try adding 2x Life from the Loam, I'm sure that you'll love how thye help out. This may also allow you to pull some of the cycle creatures out and replace them with creatures that are either Morph or contain abilities that take effect when they come into play.

And adding just one 1x Orim's Chant can add a different way for you to control your opponent.

I hope these help. If you get a chance take a look at mine.

I suggest taking out 4x Loxodon Gatekeeper.

I really like 4x Tilling Treefolk and the cycle lands. I use Life from the Loam and cycle lands.

I really like the Skinrender. having that hit almost every turn could be real nasty!

Adding just one Plow Under or one Orim's Chant can add a great way for you to control your opponent.

I hope these help. If you get a chance take a look at mine.

Changing a few lands out for 4x Drifting Meadow and 4x Slippery Karst and adding 2x Life from the Loam will throw your Astral Slide into overdrive.

Also, Morphing creatures can be used to great effect with Astral Slide.

Adding 1x Strip Mine can be another great way to trash a few lands. This helps Plow Under and can be left in the graveyard after it is no longer needed.

I like this deck idea. I run a similar one. I used the Krosan Tusker for awhile and found it redundant and unneeded when I added Life from the Loam.

If you wouldn't mind, would you take a look at mine?

I would suggest adding these. Maybe even another set of 4 that also cycle. These work very well for me with Life from the Loam.

4x Slippery Karst

I like some of the cards that you have in this deck. I think that they offer a great new look at how to run a Astral Slide deck. I would suggest running a few more cycling cards. While you have a good number of cards that take great advantage of the Astral Slide ability, especially all the mana pull that you have, there are very few cycle cards. I use 2x Life from the Loam, 4x Eternal Witness, and more cycling lands.

I might have to make a new deck with some of the cards that you have in here to take a new twist on what I have.

If you get a chance, take a look at mine.
