Deck Description

Ok, this is a first run at a standard Aura deck. I'll try to outline what is the interactions here.

Obvious items are Aura Gnarlid and Kor Spritdancer. Both creatures get boosted by auras. I have added the wind zendikons to get an early creature and aura out so i can play some early turn auras if needed. The totem auras will allow some blocking and attacking. Early game is a holding strategy. Just blockers while the creatures grow. Later when sovereigns comes out the game will switch to attacks. with the umbras stacking up in the graveyard. if SoLA gets out, out will come Eldrazi Conscrption or maybe mammoth umbra (depending on need.

Eventually if this is not working, open the vaults, pulls out all the auras and aura gnarlid or Kor can deal massive blows.

The auras -
Eel - flash is key here. it can be used to protect a creature that is otherwise unprotected in a pinch.
Lifelink - restore life after early game dificulties
Mammoth - a generally good umbra aura, with vigilence. meant to be a SoLA pull
Hyena - first strike
Spider - defense from flyers
Wind Zendi - ealry game creature, fetch land puller, vault filler, blocking flyer
eldrazi - SoLA or OtV pull

Concerns -
Day of Judgement - little concern thanks to the umbras.
Exiles will hurt. umbras do not protect well
Jund - this is a tough one, no creature removal in deck, so its a race and Jund has the advantage - cascade is tough. But then again, doesn't everything struggle against Jund

I would like to see this one tourney quality and it is far from that.

Sideboard:
Canopy cover - exile protection
Spreading Seas, Valakut protection
Nimbus wings - facing flyers
Aura Finesse - to switch and draw card... =)

try adding a gigantiform. Its insanely good with kor spiritdancer, making her at least a 10/10 with trample. I can get her to a 20/20 with flying and trample by turn four with a little help from birds of paradise and boar umbra :)
