Sideboard is cards that I feel could fit/enhance deck. I just see no space in the deck for anything. My concern is that the deck relies on counter spells. with this build there are 13 + a mindbreak. ratio 1/4.3 cards is counter. That means on most pulls, I can get between 4-5 counter by the time I hit six lands. (six is when mnemonic has a chance) I am sure the deck can maintain land drops. So to protect the board, I will need to have removal. Blue gives bounce, but red can provide removal. If I go red, it will weaken the counter strategy further. More red lands versus blue. less room for mana fixer or land advantage (tectonic). That is the heart of my issue. As far as win conditions, I have several options. Dragonmaster outcast is excellent with the 5/5's. if the deck goes off, I can jace them. lightning bolt turn after turn. lullmage for a large army that can also counter. utility creatures pinging to death. fireball even. couple of notes. No lands for now, I am not so worried about that. I got a good grip on those in general. Yeah 38 spells is wrong, need to cut 1-2 to get to the right limit. 2 if going U/r/w 1 if going U/r only. So my thoughts turn to Burn decks/aggro decks as being the biggest trouble. Silence works against the burn.(everything) Should I consider 4 silences and then trust mnemonic to bring back the silence till I can take the next turn. basically consider silence a preemptive counter spell?
