Deck Description

Planeswalker based deck on Naya colors. It is naturally an aggro deck but can be tuned via sideboard into a more disrupting controlling deck and sideboard cards work for most of the current matchups in modern.

How to Play

Ramp into planeswalker control, start with Birds of Paradise into Farseek, or drop a Loxodon Smiter on turn 2.

Planeswalkers have a lot of utility, keep pressure on the board to your opponents, and draw pressure from your life total make them excellent drops. On the other side, they provide a rare case of card advantage as they can generate effects each turn: control, aggro, ramp, burn, etc...

Rings of Brightheart is an amazing utility artifact as it can copy Planeswalker abilities. Sometimes you have 2 on the board into a double copy of Ajani's Lightning Helix, sometimes you just need to copy Xenagos mana ability, or better yet copy Elspeth's token ability. By learning to pilot the deck it provides a lot of uses vs most matchups.

4 Manlands help into beating after wipes and to help aggro.

Garruk and Xenagos provide creatures and ramp.

CMC4 Walkers: Ajani, Chandra, Garruk, Xenagos and Sarkhan
CMC5 Walkers: Gideon
CMC6 Walkers: Elspeth
