A great standard deck for under $15.This deck focuses on triggering Heroic abilities to quickly build a bigger and stronger army. This deck gives you a multitude of options and allows you to quickly change tactics if your opponent tries something unexpected:- Quick access to +1 Counters (Akroan Hoplite, Anax and Cymede, Ajani's Presence, Desperate Stand)- Quick access to hasted Soldier Tokens (Akroan Crusader, Launch the Fleet)- Quick access to saves (Gift of Immortality, Ajani's Prescence, Gods Willing, Phalanx Formation)- Push through Opponent's Blockers (Blinding Flare, Arena Athlete)In addition, all enchantments, instants, and sorceries can be used to trigger Heroic abilities while strengthening and providing protection to your creatures.
Triggering heroic abilities is your focus here, and you can switch up the way you're playing your deck at a moments notice. There are a ton of combos you can use with this deck, here are a few:[Enchantment or Instant or Sorcery] + Heroic Creature(s) = awesomeness!Because all enchantments, instants, and sorceries all trigger Heroic abilities, essentially all spells can combo with each other. - - - -This deck is not only good with smaller combos, but it can take advantage of multiple combos and morph them together. Each of the below combos can be used by themselves or with each other (which is how this deck is meant to be played.)[Launch the Fleet] +[Akroan Crusader] = double the soldiers! You'll have an additional soldier token for each Akroan Crusader targeted by Launch the Fleet. Just a suggestion, but a sideboard with answers might not be a bad plan. Maybe some banishing lights, reprisals, revoke existence's, fall the hammer, and 2 decides.Also I might recommend using R/W god maybe in only one copy.Very nice though and easily updated for the recent changes to Standard.
