Let Splice resolve and copy the Lava Spike with the Izzet Guildmage's ability. Let copy resolve, you will gain the mana from the spliced Desperate Ritual and can copy it again as many times as necessary. The combo requires 6 mana, a Guildmage in play and a Lava Spike and Desperate Ritual in hand.

Revirberate, Redirect, and Twincast seem really fun in this deck. Copying stuff and changing it's direction could really pimp this deck out. Plus maybe a time warp and or ponder could enhance this deck or even a pyromancer's asention seams fun as well.
