Birthing Pod, Elesh Norn, and Sheoldred, along with plenty of enter-the-battlefield, when-this-creature-dies, and Morbid abilities to go along with them. The Undying mechanic with Mikaeus can make this deck a lot of fun. Lacks the insanity that can happen with Phantasmal Image and Venser in Bant-Pod, but I think the black removal and graveyard play help make up for it. I hope to end up with a tournament deck that at least competes with Bant-Pod, or maybe even surpasses it. Comments and critiques are welcome.

i like it but why not run blazing archon it is much better then some of the cards you are running for instance -1 acidic slime +1 blazing archon

I'm keeping it Standard legal for use in Type 2 tourneys and constructed FNM. All the cards in it are from M12, the Scars of Mirrodin block, or the Innistrad block.
