This is a standard simic pain-in-the-ass deck. A little control, a little ramp, a lot of unblockable.

Have you thought about adding Gyre Sage or Karametra's Acolyte? They're both great way's to beef up Mistcutter.
Either way, have a like.

Thanks for the like! Gyre Sage is an interesting one. I really like Caryatid for the flexibility in which color mana I get, on the other hand, I really like Mystic's 1-drop cost. Then again, Sage offers some flexibility with +1/+1 counters. I haven't actually built this deck to play-test it... however I imagine Sage would be a great replacement for Mystic's in this deck. Thanks for the input!

Gyre Sage is weird since it doesn't come in with any counters. Unless you're going to be constantly dropping things with a higher power than it when it evolves you'll probably only get 1 or 2 mana ramp out of it. The Acolyte is far more reliable for mana ramp since it taps for your devotion to green. However it does cost 4 mana.
Gyre Sage would have been so much better had they made it a 0/2 with evolve and had it come in with a 1/1 counter. Then at least you could use it right away, rather than having to evolve it first.
Have a look at mine if you want, feedback and ideas are always welcome.

A 4-drop for mana ramp is a little iffy for me. However with evolve and bio shift it's quite easy to ramp Sage, a lot of flexibility. It's definitely something to consider. I should probably build this deck. If I draw a Kiora this weekend I probably will, however I finally finished my EDH deck and just built 2 new decks, so justifying the price for 2 Kiora's isn't really there.

True enough, the 4 drop is a bit of a turn off, but tapping for 11 mana turn 5 to geta 40/40 mistcutter is amazing. I see a Zegana in there, what are your thoughts on Fathom Mage? Since bioshift would allow you to draw cards at any time in conjunction with Fathom Mage.

Bred for the Hunt + multiple ways to make creatures unblockable = card draw for one less mana. Fathom mage is a solid choice, though.
