Deck discussion for Standard Splinterfright Deck

Add Gnaw to the Bone to the sideboard atleast, card is amazing lifegain. Due to flashback get atleast half of it even if its milled.

Hi Phiphler,

Thanks for input wasn't familiar with the card Gnaw to the Bone.
As you can see I've tried to maximixe the number of creatures that might be put into the graveyard
without going over 60 cards in deck. Gnaw to the Bone does look like an excellent sideboard against
red burn decks.

Hi vitorocks03,

While prey upon does look like a fun card. I'm ready trying trying very hard to limit the number of non-creature cards in the deck so the graveyard can be filled with creatures through discard. I'm not sure the suprise attack provided by prey on is that important if I'm attacking with a 16/16 creature due to wreath of giest and 8 creatures in graveyard. Plus prey upon is a sorcery if only it were an instant.

Your general idea does have merit as I developed the deck I did conside adding black to the deck goes so as to add Gruesome Deformity for intimidate. Its still a good idea I just don't have the right dual lands to support the idea yet.

Oh, and Ghoulcallers bell to Mulch perhaps? And why not Forbidden Alchemy instead of Dream twist?

My reasoning to use Ghoulcaller's instead of Mulch.
1. The Ghoulcaller's Bell is a one drop mulch is a two.
2. The bell is a permanent and over a game might put more cards in graveyard that mulch.
3. The Bell is a target to eat cards like naturalize so Wreath of Geists of might last longer.

Reasons to use mulch instead of G Bell.
If I have Noxious Fumes in the deck I can do 8 cards into graveyard if I have 4 mana open.

My decision:
I'm adding Mulch to side board with Noxious Revival if Mulch and Noxious prove to be
game changers I'll more them to main board.

Why Dream Twist over Forbidden Academy? Simple reasons, mana costs and card efficientcy.

Dream Twist one drop with 1U flash back. For 3 mana I can discard 6 cards.
Forbidden Academy three drop with UB flash back (notice black mana in flash back) For 3mana I can discard 4 cards.

This deck currently doesn't run any black mana sources so Forbidden Academy is out.

After testing have decide to drop goul caller's bell and use mulch and noxious revival instead the opportunity for improve mana flow outweighs ghoul caller's ability to act as bait for Naturalize bait.
