Deck Description

Concentrates on getting the most for your mana - often at a 3 dmg to 1 mana ratio or better.

All the popular 3 for 1 spells are here. I also have lots of fast, efficient creatures. Since most of the creatures don't stick around long, sac them for Reckless Abandon or Goblin Grenade before they disappear to get a veritable 4 or 5 dmg for 1 mana! Fireblast usually ends the game at least 1 turn earlier than it would otherwise, and Wheel of Fate gives the deck staying power after you've burned through your hand. The Torch and Beacon are "just in case" cards.

I know some of you will say that 16 lands is too few, but trust me, the deck usually runs very smoothly with only 2-3 lands on the board. Whenever I add in more lands, it noticably slows down the burn.

No matter what I play against, they always struggle to keep up with this deck.

Comments are always welcome, and I will try to respond in kind.

Deck discussion for Max Efficiency Burn

Hey, this sounds familiar? Oh Yeah! Its what I have been telling everyone about Efficiency and Cost Effectiveness! Good Job, you should take a look at my Sligh deck I have posted up on here for Legacy. Honestly, 16 lands is PERFECT but with the Beacon in the deck and anything over 4 its not so good :P Either way, +1 Good Job, hopefully people start to get the picture because most people dont listen to me here anyway lol!

looks like a good deck. i remember when i made a burn deck. I had like 26 burn cards (had 4 goblins for the grenades) and 30 mountains. So like every other card was land so i was always putting lands down to do a huge fireball.

What about fork and incinerate?
