Deck Description

Decided to do werewolves some justice and put together something a little different. I've done some play testing with this and it seems to work pretty well, although there might be a little bit too much going on for the consistency that I would like to see from it. Garruk's tutor ability has helped a little bit the consistency, just not as much as I would like. Here are my thoughts, any suggestions are welcome.

Parralel lives to double tokens from cagebreakers, master of the wild hunts, garruks, and packmasters.

Wolves have two different avenues to gain deathtouch; garruk and packmasters. After which, master of the wild hunt can fling them for instant kills.

If things get too crazy, wipe with blasphemus act and re-gen all werewolves via full moon rise.

Board presence is achieved pretty easily and there's a few different win cons.

I'd like to find a way to fit in some reclaims, so I can grab back plainswalkers, moonmists, and full moon rise. I've also considered gravity well, because being able to shut down flying all together would be really nice.

Deck discussion for Werewolves Done Right

I like it, but how do you plan to stop your opponent from playing spells so you can transform your werewolves?

I usually transform with Moonmist, if I'm not sitting on a moonmist and am desperate for transformation I just don't play a spell, in which case they transform at the beginning of my opponents turn.

Not a bad idea, although I usually find myself tutoring for spells like moonmist or parallel lives because the deck is pretty creature heavy. Thanks for the advice though.

I see where you are coming from, but the Full Moon Rise + Blas. Act combo has helped me out too much to sideboard it. Also, the trample that Full Moons Rise offers has helped push me to a few victories as well.

If your question is how to be able to get more use from Moonmist then I would recommend Noxious Revival or Reclaim. That will allow you to throw it back ontop of your library from the graveyard for another use.

I actually really wanted to fit some noxious revival in this deck so that I could fetch back Moonmist, Blas act, and FMR but I'm not sure how to fit them in....I guess I could pull a few creatures.
