By the way... ...I don't use Wrath of God, cuz I rather run Terminus & Perilous Vault in the sideboard for creatures that can regenerate...

...but why should I use 4 Colonnade? I could never utilize them all... ...only 2 at most & 1 in play is enough to score the win... ...could you explain?......

Cryptic Command... ...well... ...2 may be... ...& 3-4 Snapcasters perhaps... ...probably just 3 cuz I'm not sure what to take out.......

Anger is rather a sideboard card... ...Snapcaster would really be nice if I could take out something for it... ...I won't use Conclave, because it's another tapped land & it can only produce Blue mana, though it's powerful... ...I'd rather use Mutavault if I did, but Colonnade is pretty much enough for that, cuz it's also 1 of my prime finishers... ...Cryptic Command is very powerful, but I don't know if it wouldn't mess up the rhythm of the deck.......

What I'm also thinking about is changing the mana base by rather using ScyLands, Scars of Mirrodin Duals & Pain Lands... ...& of course, keep the 2 Colonnade...

Well, that was in 2004-2005 I belive, so you're playing for awhile as well... :)

When I entered my 1st FNM at 9 years old, I played a tricky USA control deck with Lightning Angel & such :) ...then I played Elves, then Goblins & still used Elves... ...then G/R aggro-control... ...Mono-Black control a little after.......

MTG has improoved a lot since that... ...when I 1st looked upon the original 5 Planeswalkers, I was like "WTF is this s_it?!?? Are they gonna' change the rules & the motion of the game??"... ...but then I liked it very much :))

Besides the mana base, I really like the concept... ...perhaps you could use Gravecrawler & also the upcoming Abzan Ascendion would be an awesome addition here, cuz you can even sacrifice the Spirit creaturesn you get with it to Devouring Greed wich I'd use 3 from in the main deck after Ascendion has been utilized...

Also, a good sideboard won't hurt & I'm willing to help with it later if you're up for it...

I'm also not sure if you really need Holy Day, but I haven't tasted your deck, so I couldn't know 4 sure...

I used to play lots of Modern & even Extended back then... ...I'm playing since 1999... ...I'm just more interested in Standard, that's all.......

I just got back to playing Modern, cuz for the last almost 5 years, 85-90% of the tournaments I entered were standard or block constructed...

...however...

I JUST NOTICED, that if you copy Restoration Angel & target Kiki-Jiki, then Kiki-Jiki will be untapped again, then you can copy Restoration Angel once more & target Kiki-Jiki again, then copy the Angel again, then target Kiki-Jiki again... ...it's also infinite!!!!! ...then you can attack with all copies, cuz they have Haste!! It's so fckin' not fair though... ...they should ban this combo.......

Resotration Angel is not legendary...

I belive Gallery doesn't make them nonlegendary, only makes it possible to have more than 1 of each legendary permanent on the battlefield under the same player's control...

Sure, I know you didn't say that... ...just pointed out why I don't use Splinter... ...I don't like it dieing with the creature it targets.......

I use Kiki-Jiki & not Splinter, cuz if the Target dies, he stays on the battlefield & I can also chose different targets each turn... :)

I'm not as picky to have such a preference...
