Deck Description

Standard, R/W/(B) Battalion aggro...

How to Play

Cast your creatures fast, but look out for wipes, when you play against them!.. In case for facing wipes, you need to hold up a couple of things, so you can resist after getting hit by Terminus for example...
...Supreme Verdict is not really a threat because of Boros Charm.......

Boros Charm is very useful for each of it's abilities... ...making your permanents indestructible is best when you attack with many creatures & you have no Frontline Medic... ...the 4 damage is awesome, especially along with Searing Spear it could be very surprising (sudden death)... ...giving a creature double strike is the ability I use rarely, because that 4 damage is better most of the time, but when you block a creature, or get one blocked by a bigger dude, you can kill it like this... ...giving the Avenger double strike is great, because the 3 damage it deals by Battalion also doubles... ...this ability is also nice when you have Aurelia on board.......

The Loyalist could be a surprise when the opponent thinks you won't have 3 creatures to attack with... ...it's nice sometimes to hold even two Loyalist in hand... ...same goes for Hellrider... ...a great surprise & he's also a winning card(wich is obvious).......

...the Priest is awesome for attacking perpouses, because the opponent won't deal damage to it & you can have your extra attacker to trigger Battalion... ...I love the card, because many times, the opponent has to waste strong removal on it.......

Lingering Souls gives more opportunities to trigger Battalion by cheap, fast flyers... ...sometimes, it's better to keep the flashback ability for later in case you get hit by a wipe, so Battalion won't be so hard to trigger after the removal.......

I have the sideboards in case I need more removal, facing other aggro decks, or midrange with big creatures, may be planeswalkers... ...Rakdos Charm is basically for zombie aggro (exile graveyard), but also good against token & any type of aggro because of it's ability(1 damage for each creature)... ...& it's also good to eleminate Runecaster's Pike.......

Thanks!

No I haven't & I think I can put togeather a better deck for FNM... ...I already have better decks though those were created before Gatecrash came out...

I'm very disappointed with Gatecrash, because the best decks for standard now will not contain much cards of the expansion... ...the shocklands are fine, but about all the other cards are not needed in Bant control, USA control, Junk & Jund midrange.......

I like where you are going with this deck! If I had a chance to improve a few things I would go with removing the Smite cards and adding in Hellrider somewhere.
I suggest removing Smite because your creatures are very dependent on attacking to maximize their efficiency and Smite doesn't add anything for that. If you wanted to keep Smite then you could cut a couple of the lingering souls (or something else) for Midnight Haunting and have a surprise waiting for the attacking opponent.
Hellrider is just an awesome card that can really bring on the pain and fit into the surprise Battalion tactic like with the Loyalist.
If you dont mind could you take a look at my USA Delver deck. I could especially use some advice on the Mana Base. Thanks!

Consider putting in Odric, Master Tactician. It would be useful to have somebody purposely block your indestructible Priest of Penance, or even to just swing all out unblocked.

I need at least 4 attacking creatures for Odric & that won't happen' against a well constructed control deck of any kind, or other type of decks with a strong set of removal... ...though it comboes well with the Priest, the Priest's perpouse is to make it easyer to have 3 attackers, because theopponent won't block it & I don't have to sacrifice many creatures when there are no indestructible for me... ...when I suddenly cast Boros Charm after the opponent choses to block the Priest, it's a huge adventage (& he/she could not know, if I had a Charm in hand).......

have you considered gather the townsfolk for the 2 mana slot instead of firefist stricker? it would be easier to trigger battalion. i know the "cannot block" is good, but townsfolk gives you 2 creatures to trigger battalion easily (after a wipe or some sort).

could you please take a look at my deck? thanks! and help me with make it so i could survive early game or does it hold up already? haven't play tested it though...
