Deck discussion for Wrath of the Titans

Grave Titans are the worst Titan to use with Heartless as 1/1 Zombie tokens are just not as threatening. I think you should focus on the Sun and put in more targets to bring back (Perilous Myr) and this also goes with the burn from the Inferno's.

Also please check out my Ramp Heartless if you have a minute. Thanks! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=340818

Thanks 4 the advice! Yes, that GT-thing concerned me a bit, that's why I put in the automaton, but it's not that stabil that way... I reacently realized, how good "Perilous Myr" is, with Summoning & I've made this deck weeks ago :) ... I'll change the complection in a bit soon for this deck...

I think grave titan is good i think you just focas on giving him support
But i do agree about the sun titan and inferno just focas on em all and support them

Originally, the deck had 4 Grave-T.-s... but it's really not worth it with Summoning...

Maybe an unburial rites or two? and some draw. I think a couple (dismember/ go for the throat/ doomblade)s would work well, and since you have so many myrs why not add a myr battle sphere? You could take out some of the suns or alloy myrs.

May be instead of "Grave Titan" :) ... ...or 1Grave & 1 Inferno, & put in 2... I've made it a sideboard, 'cuz it mostly good against cards, like "Dayof Judgment' & stuff...

Yea, might go a similar route(heartless summoning) on my titan deck. I'll have to think of a new title cause "Titanic in 3D" isn't the same without 3x delvers LOL

hmm, i'm not sure how much i like the black, heartless is great as far as speeding up the titans, but i feel that if you swapped black out for green, you could ramp even more, then have a op finish, or a response to cards that cold stall you out (ie an o ring on ramp could eat a naturalize)
as far as improving what we have here....
you need some more control for early game, a goblin arsonist goes a long way when used right, so does a black cat (both go with sun titan and you can just activate them with heartless if you are ready to drop a titan)

"Heartless Summoning" is crucial for the Perilous - "Sun Titan" combo... I can C your point, but that would be a totally different deck...

that's true, it was just an idea though, and i do enjoy the perilous titan combo, i still think you need more early game control though, i just can't think of what to take out

y not just drop the tutor for something like black sun's zenith or even day of judgement?? i like the deck alot looks very fun to use.

Not a bad idea, since I have only Palladium & Alloy worth to keep on the battlefield, but with "Heartless Summoning", the Zenith is disadventagous... May be "Killing Wave", since I have a lot of mana :) ...

THX 4 YO' comment!

Grave Titan is great, but as was said before it's a lot less intimidating with 1/1 zombies.

Since I play with only 1 "Grave Titan", I'll use "Griselbrand" instead :) ...

Cool deck! If the heartless are giving you trouble you could always give quicksilver amulet a shot. But deck as is seems great. i do like the Griselbrand idea as well.

THX :) ... The amulet cost me much, summoning alowes me to play the titans for the same coast... So I think I'll just add 1 Grislebrand :) ...

Beauty deck, Heartless Summoning is wicked. I love build around me cards.

This looks pretty fast too, pretty decent amount of mana pump.

I made another deck after that green flying one, weird idea I had for a standard red deck that is kinda out in left field

you should add mudbutton torchrunner, with sun titan you wanna be able to bring back as many useful cards as possible and that'd be a lightning bolt technically everytime he attacks with heartless summoning out

Defiantly a cool idea and a strong deck, but in a design like this I would like to just through out grave and through in wurmcoil. I would also try and find a spot for elesh norn and sheoldred is never bad

Primeval Titan would be a better choice than grave titan because he is a speed-boost onto himself. Plus Your going to want to drop at least one of your heartless summonings. If you have two out you kill all of your myrs.

I would suggest completely taking out Grave Titan (one of them just isn't really worth it) and the Simulacrum's (yes they're good, but you don't actually need them, you have 23 land and a ton of better mana accelerators.) and putting in something like Mox Opal is a pretty good idea in this deck. I'd also considering adding Vault of the Archangel (cause dayum it's pretty good in this deck even when you're titan starved and waiting for a draw), Vessel of Endless Rest would be another pretty good choice.

Alternatively (and I think this would be better then splashing red/inferno titan) you could put some blue cards in.

Grand Architect, Treasure Mage, Shape Anew, Tezzeret and potentially Call to the Kindred would be incredibly good in this deck, so some food for thought. Plus if you decided to use Frost Titan, permanently tapping 1 of their cards can shut down an opponents defense or offense.

Good altogether but the grave titan doesn't work well with the heartless summoning. Also check out my mono blue mill deck here I really need the help and can use all the help. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=349207

Cursebreak, to get rid of the Heartless once you have your Titans out.

I'm not sure, but if you are going to use a card to disenchant your own heartless summoning (as mentioned above) you have a lot of cards which give you any colour mana so using a nature's claim would work well.

also, would you check out my assassin deck (it's probably not very good I'm very new) :) .

also, what about coat of arms? It powers up your myr as well as your titans, and if you have at least three titans out It removes the effects of heartless summoning from all of them.

this is basicly like my friends fright deck. I would put in elesh norn with grave titans for some real frightening combos.
