I see your point. without goblins, you'd have lost before your dragons hit the field. but try a dragon deck with quicksilver amulet or mayael of the anima.
i really like quicksilver amuletshows the raw power of a dragon deck.mayael.... probably my second favorite magic card. NASTTY but it's tri colour and this is budget =)
