My first artifact deck, this is the 3rd revision I've done on this deck and I have play tested it several times against friends. I just added in the 1 platinum angel, 3 golem artisans and 2 eldrazi momentums so I have not tested it with them. Before that I played it with the 2 whispersilk cloaks to equip to steel hellkites, 3 wall of tangecords and 1 extra buried ruin. I also try to keep it cheap as I only play casually with several friends. Prior to getting the 2 eldrazi momentums and the platinum angel the deck was like $40 dollars.
I love the flexibility and versatility of the deck. With trading post and myr retriever I can keep bringing cards back out of the graveyard and get multiple uses out of such as perilous myr or expedition map. Also helps being cards back use for grinding station or cards you discard with trading post to gain life.With grinding station, a myr retriever in your hand and one in play you can mill out a good portion of your opponents deck with some mana available. (with 10 mana you can mill 18 cards per turn) This deck produces a ton of mana as well based on how the lands function. Although not likely if you had all lands out you'd be able to tap them all for 66 mana. With 2 Mishra's Helixs out I have been able to keep 2 opponents in a 3 player FFA game tapped out while still playing cards.Most games are won with steel hellkite dragon cleaning house or darksteel juggernaut placing pressure.The only problems I've faced is this deck is mana intensive and if I can't get the triple combo of Urza's mine, plant and tower or a few cloudposts out fairly quickly it slows me down but the 22 lands and 4 expedition maps help that not happen all too frequently. If anyone has any ideas or tips please let me know! Opinions are always welcome!!
