Niv-Mizzet is one badass dragon. Red and blue is my favorite combination. How come I've always have a hard time doing a good red-blue Niv-Mizzet deck? My refusal to use cheap combos like Curiosity or any instant kil made possible by Izzet Guildmage! The cheapest combo I will allow myself to use with Niv-Mizzet is with 2 Sensei's Divining Top. It's nice, but not too good. With this deck, I tried to use the 2 renewable suspend spells from Future Sight to gain a bit of card advantage and Gelectrode with every damaging spell to take control. Dead/Gone offers a nice alternative to damage if things go wrong with one big creature and Goblin Flectomancer is an original way to protect my permanents(and my face) from removal/damaging spells). What I need help with in this deck are the spells. I'd like to know what your good picks are for powerful instant/sorcery. I'm looking for good but cheap stuff to cast(to work well with gelectrode and with Niv-Mizzet who'll make me draw a lot).
