Oh, scornful egotist, you is abuzible. Unmorph it, sac it to birthing pod, bring out artisan of kozilek, bring back Scornful Egotist to do it again next turn (or get a blazing archon, or kozilek himself). After coming up with the cheez I wasn't enthusiastic enough to finish making the deck. =p

Scornful egotist has been one of my favorite cards. I didn't even know birthing pool existed. Oh woe. Time to dust off my egotist. I think this would allow me to make a deck that my GF would enjoy. She likes the occasional cheese once in a while herself.

Scornful egotist is hilarious, but I resisted the tempattion. =p I've recently been tempted to make a birthind pod / heartless summoning deck (as I hear the cool cats are doing), which would give me an excuse to avoid 1-toughness creatures that make my opponents slap me. That said, I'd love to see what you come up with if you build a deck with the above combo!
