Deck discussion for VEmpyre

You forgot an important spell for this type of deck - Vampiric Fury.

Splashing black to include Stromkirk Captain can be done by using Drogonskull Summit and Blackcleave Cliffs. Alternatively, a cheaper option is Evolving Wilds and Shimmering Grotto.

Or if you don't want to splash black, there is still 1 more option I can think of to add a 'lord' - Adaptive Automaton.

Let's assume I want to keep it mono red, what do you suggest I take out put Adaptive and Vamp Fury ?

Personally I'd cut Falkenrath Exterminator (it doesn't quite fit the aggressive feel I'm getting here) and Battle Hymn (you shouldn't need to ramp for a miracled Bonfire). Additionally I'd lower Bonfire to 2 (max 3, you should be doing enough damage via creatures to not really need it at all, but it does work well as a finisher) and lower Havengul Vampire's count to 2 (or 3, it costs too much mana for an agro deck).

This should open slots for Vampiric Fury and burn spells like Pillar of Flame and Searing Spear (Spear sided boarded with Thinderbolt against flying heave decks).

After thinking about it, you shouldn't need a 'lord', so Adaptive isn't needed (and it phases out in October). Besides, Rakish Heir acts as a good enough 'lord' in here :)
