rofl! yeah, but that's a pretty rare case and is one that most decks won't do very well against :P

no board, I very rarely remember to even use them :P also, I don't think I have the cards to stop the decks that I can't outright overpower with those hydras

Yeah, I probably need some thoughtsieze and despise in here too, I was just kind of putting this back together as a deck I will be rebuilding soon and trying to put it together in advance. Thanks!

Don't have any, same with so many other cards that would work super well. I forgot to put a couple that I do have in there, since I was just making that list from memory. Nezumi Graverobber, for one :P

Also, feel free to check out my other decks and let me know what you think! I'm especially looking for thoughts on http://www.mtgvault.com/psykodell/decks/kalonian-beatdown-fnm-modern/
because I'll be playing it tonight.

Taj-Nar Swordsmith.
Sword, Shield and Helm of Kaldra.
Batterskull.

I would say for a deck that is focused on equipments and white weenies, you have too many instants that don't really mesh with the theme, but other than that it's well built. The above cards would really, really help it though. And more living weapons- you are kind of short on creatures.

rofl, I run sire in my discard deck (this is a hypothetical build, I don't have all the cards for it)

Also, You can choose to Sire before Jin since they both say at the beginning, so you have seven cards for their turn...

hehe, Grave Betrayal would be a great card too. Now your opponent's creatures are your zombies! :P

Sign in Blood does provide that slight window of opportunity, but it gives them two cards instead of one and deals them damage in the process; That being said, the scholars are reuseable- six of one, half a dozen of the other. If I had the cards, this is the discard deck I would run:

I have built discard decks before but they never worked very well because I don't have most of what I want, or I only have singletons of them :P

Cut Sorin, not worth splashing black for when Elspeth, Sun's Champion makes more tokens on a rollup. Plus, I need a Sorin- I'll trade you for him! :P

Yeah, I could see Alliance of Arms being a much better card in multiplayer games but it still seems like it gives away more than it gives you, with a deck that is all about having numerical superiority. I think what you need is more big token creatures to populate, so that it's got a little better late game punch since multiplayer games tend to go longer- maybe Trostani's Summoner? Also take a look at Emmara Tandris, she's beast mode for this deck. So many good cards :P

Straightforward and to the point, soldiers rock. I would remove Raise the Alarm in favor of Akroan Hoplite, and if you can get your hands on one Elspeth, Sun's Champion is made for this deck. I think with 16 Heroic creatures you also need more buff spells to activate them, I would cut the Akroan Crusaders in favor of Feat of Resistance.

Looks like a good deck, to make it faster and more consistent I would add 4x Growing Ranks and 2x dual lands, remove 3x Alliance of Arms and 2x Storm Herd and 1x Plains. Also think about swapping a couple forests for Khalni Garden.

Needs Megrim for a discard deck, deals two damage every time they discard. Run four of it for a short game with this much forced discard, also you may want some Sign in Blood to give them something to be able to discard (XD)

looks good, I would suggest Sphere of Safety as well, I would probably take out White Sun's Zenith for it.

If damage would be dealt to a creature you control other than Vigor, prevent that damage. Put a number of +1/+1 counters on that creature equal to the amount of damage prevented in this way.

It turns everything you have into Phytohydras.
