Deck Description

UPDATED LIST: Creatureless Burning Vengeance deck sans Snapcaster Mage. He is out of my budget for now. Obviously 3-4 of him makes the deck 100% better.

Also I only own one Shimmering Grotto so don't really have a way yet to use the flashback on Ancient Grudge sideboard. I do have two Woodland Cemetery, but not much use for black mana as I am not sld on Forbidden Alchemy. Need to get a hold of some more dual lands like Rootbound Crag or Hinterland Harbor.

Suggestions welcome, especially concerning sideboard and if any should be main decked or replaced.

Deck discussion for Burning Vengeance sans Snapcaster

Desperate ravings instead of dream twist, it's red draw power with a blue flashback, awesome for the colors ur running and has a point

also might wanna consider gutshots for the manaleaks, runic repetitions for the silent departures, and 2 shrines of burning rages for the disperses, if ur running burn, you wanna be as aggressive as possible especially if ur running no creatures.

and if u ever decide to run creatures, think about either chandra's pheonix, like you were thinking snapcaster mages, Galvanoths, and/or charmbreaker devils.

@Zahris Thanks for the great suggestions. I've yet to run this thing or test it, its all been theory crafting. I admit I've been confused by which to use Desperate Ravings vs Dream Twist vs Forbidden Alchemy. I've heard others saying how Desperate Ravings really isn't that random and can be played around.

I did consider Gut shot when looking at the burn package, shrines as well. I hear you about being aggressive. Its just that counter spells seem to be necessary to safeguard your Burning Vengeances and to counter opponent cards that will be too much for this deck to handle. I guess if you have a big enough burn suite though the BV is just icing on the cake anyway.

My first build had 4x Charmbreaker Devils but I thought they were just wearing "kick me" signs by being the only four. I do like the idea of giving my opponent dead cards in card that target creatures only. If I decide to get some creature action adding Chandra's Phoenix would be a go to pick. HOLY @#$% how did I overlook Galvanoth! You can tell I didn't play this set at all! :) Nice suggestion!!!

Snapcasters are out of my range monetarily atm but if I can swing a trade or pull some at drafts they will definitely get added. I've got some testing to do once I order up the missing cards for this thing.
