anyone remember metalworker? anyone notice that most of the small infect creatures are artifact? YES. fast mana is what infect needs. 37 artifacts in the deck makes for excellent value from the metalworker. only one activation will see you most of the way towards winning. imagine dropping a putrefax equipped with sword of vengeance and a shuko on turn 4. insanity. also includes a ROARING combo between contagion clasp and everflowing chalice. it fuels itself, powering up your magnets and various counters with 0 mana investment. fires of yavimaya may be the best pro-infect card ever printed. grove of the burnwillows in an infect deck is a straight up no-drawbacks dual land. win!
