Deck Description

this deck is made with multiplayer in mind. (also remembering that most multiplayer games are very heavy on creatures)

the general aim is to consistently wipe the board in the early game and then set up some large threats in the mid game, as well as accelerate into a large drain life or promise of power.

both korlash and kokusho are extremely efficient legendary cards because it's actually beneficial to draw more than one at a time. kokusho because you can play multiples and then watch your opponents lose maybe 10 or 15 life (= win) and korlash because he can thin your deck and plonk down extra lands.

Exsanguinate is a win condition but also a mid-game bomb to even the game out against stuff like sligh and burn. against 4 other players you're looking at a 20-point life gain on average. not bad!

magus of the coffers is an experiment. he has a decent sized body so could potentially fulfill a beater role if needed, but ultimately he's there to ramp out lots of mana.

gatekeeper of malakir is just another removal spell but nets you a creature at the same time. this can, in the right circumstances, make all the difference to a gamestate.
