Deck Description

so i've been wracking my brains trying to figure out a solid way to run precursor golem, without it being massively vulnerable to creature destruction
then i realised something: it doesn't actually matter. it's 9 power for 5 mana. if it dies to a single doom blade, so what?

however there are some degenerate ways to keep them safe and also turn them into INSANE threats, so lets try them out, shall we?

i've chosen a green-ramp kind of approach to take advantage of the stompyness. might of oaks is a beast here. it basically reads "+21/+21" for four mana. yes you read that correctly you'll be swinging for 30 damage. tasty.
vines of vastwood is also a bomb, and doubles as protection if you need it to. you can also read it as "shroud and +12/+12" for two mana which is insane. withstand death is just amazing and we'll leave it at that! haha.

Deck discussion for precursor stomp

if you have more golems in play and a precurser golem all golems are effected by the instant or sorcery, not just the copies produced by the precurser, so you could run some maul splicers or etched monstrositys for example and they would still get boosted, just an idea im working on a similar deck but a little more artifact based, good deck this i like it.
