i've been loving ajani vengeant recently... he's a really underrated card. anyway, his tapping ability got me thinking. why not theme a deck around this sort of pseudo denial? the aim is simple. tap down threats and lands, and win by whittling them down with elspeth, squadron hawks and celestial colonnades. blatting off ajani's one-sided armageddon is your aim. there's no recovering from that. in the deck there are 12 tap-down effects. icy manipulator, ajani, tumble magnet the threats are small but effective. just like you want them.
