Deck Description

***UNDER CONSTRUCTION***
(Cards in sideboard are cards considered to be added)

This deck bases on the following combo:
DAMI, SAGE OF STONE
Legendary Creature — Gorgon Wizard 4/4, 4UBG (7)
Deathtouch
Skip your draw step.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have fewer than seven cards in hand, draw cards equal to the difference

+

ASSAULT SUIT
"Equipped creature gets +2/+2, has haste, can't attack you or a planeswalker you control, and can't be sacrificed.
At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, you may have that player gain control of equipped creature until end of turn. If you do, untap it.
Equip {3}"

If I equip Damia with Assault Suit, she will wander around from player to player, so nobody will draw regular cards anymore. However, since I am transferring control of Damia at the beginning of upkeep, the opponent will NOT be able to fill up his hand to 7! I, however, still do since I will control her at the beginning of my upkeep. Sweet.

TEH PROPLEMZ:
* The single biggest problem: Most support cards I can come up with are white. Damia, however, is blue, black and green. And I need her in play asap. So I have a very difficult decision to make that will alter the entire deck structure:
a) Go four colours, either with a green mana filter engine. This will require lots of non-basic lands and other support cards
b) Go only black and white and get Damia into play via reanimation. This is probably the smarter move, however, you know, if I am going to reanimate, I could as well reanimate Griselbrand or other creatures that win the game faster.

* The suit prevents that the opponents will sacrifice her and they cannot attack me with her. But I am playing lots of Pentagram games, so my opponents will still be able to attack each other. This means they will attack with Damia in the hope it will be blocked to death, something that everybody will be hellbent to do, since they want to draw cards again. So I need to protect her (that's why I will run Maze of Ith) but I need more.

* Damia isn't easy to get into play and it will draw all the removal there is. I need a second creature that combos with the Suit, something cheaper. I consider Nim Abomination, however, this only works if it stays untapped and the opponent will just attack with it, both to get no damage and in the hope it'll die. Maze of Ith solves this problem, too, but I own only one Maze. I do own a single Moat and I consider Light of Day which would work both on Damia a and Nim Abomination, but as of now I am not set on adding white. Anyway, there MUST be more viable targets for the Suit!

Deck discussion for Peaceful Assault

*** DECK UNDER CONSTRUCTION ***

The description says what I am trying to do and where I need help. Please brainstorm and throw card names at me - since I am not even decided on the colour mix, you can basically suggest whatever you want. For example, if you find an awesome creature in red that goes well with the Suit, I might change the entire concept.

Jeez. Okay. Give me some time on this one.
You make some of the weirdest decks!

Because I have done the non-weird ones already :) I consider this the true way to play Magic :P

I am seeing a lot of Zurgo Helmsmasher for Commander with Suit. But that would make four colors. Yuck.

Maybe a Donate style deck. Play creatures and put suits on them, then donate them to your opponent?

What would be the mechanics of something like Assault Suit-Erg Raiders. Give them it via Bazaar Traders?
Not sure how it would work.
Having a hard to suggesting cards for this deck do to my poor ability to understand the finer details of Magic rules.

Those won't work - it is crucial that control of the creature changes beginning of upkeep and end of turn. So, beginning of upkeep only triggers for me but not for the opponents. If I donate Damia, they get full use of her, something I obviously don't want.

If you can't come up with another possible creature, focus on support cards. I am leaning towards white now. Solitary Confinement alone is worth splashing white, so is Light of Day.

I'll make some adjustments and then lets see where that gets us.

Mirror-Sigil Sergeant, maybe?
Nantuko Shaman

Not finding much in regards to creatures.

Initial suggestions off the bat:
Prison Term (actually, in this rare instance Kirtar's Desire is even better because you only have to worry about your opponents using Namia as an attacker)
Arrest
Oppressive Rays
Fog
Tangle (other fog effects, you should have no problem drawing them on your turn when using them on opponent's turns, and it'll help leave them open to attack).
Blunt The Assault may be particularly powerful, particularly because playing a combination like this screams "TARGET ME! I'M AN ASS!" It'll keep you AND your creature alive.
Finally: Whispersilk Cloak (should I drop the mic, because that's pretty awesome).
Another unorthodox deck out of left field, really keep it up, I like your ideas.
Do you think the cards I suggested could fit in the deck? Why or why not? As it's under construction I just threw out my initial ideas pretty quickly. There are plenty of cards out there with similar abilities that could help solve your problem.

All of this assures me of one thing: That I really have go for white. Prison Term is a nice card that deserves to see play. Arrest => Recumbent Bliss in this case I think.

Tangle actually doesn't work here. Well, it does, but Assault Suit untaps the creature when control is changed, negating the effort.

Whispersilk Cloak?

Whispersilk cloak adresses your concern that "they will attack with it, it will be blocked, it will die".
Equip it with a whispersilk cloak and we change that to "they will attack with it, it can't be blocked, and it also can't be targeted by spells or abilities, and if it is somehow destroyed I'll just keep my whispersilk cloak around for the next Damia I drop."
You don't need to keep it from attacking, you only need to keep it from attacking you and getting destroyed by other means. In this regard Whispersilk Cloak trumps the white enchantments as this creaure can still be used to whallop on your opponents, and it's an artifact equipment to boot, so it will not be destroyed with the creature. It's also colorless so you don't have to worry about adding more colors of mana.

Tangle works on more than just your creature, it effects all attacking creatures, and protects you from being attacked by their other creatures, and keeps their creatures tapped for two turns, thus they are wide open for you and other players. I stand by Tangle being a good idea, but it's up to you.

Regarding the Whispersilk Cloak: Yes, the unblockable part would solve that problem, however, wouldn't the shroud part cause the Assault Suit to drop off?

Yep, Tangle is a great card (I also love Spore Cloud). I am not decided on the colours and direction yet, though. Everyhting hints on this being only black and white but this would require me to fall back to reanimation in order to get Damia out. Maybe Constant Mists would also be an option since if I have Damia going, I have a steady supply of lands.

If the Assault Suit had already resolved it would not drop off. A spell only targets when it is being cast. You would need to equip Whispersilk Cloak after you had applied any other enchantments.
