Deck Description

A total screwball of a deck that kills your opponent by forcing them to gain life.

How to Play

Tainted Remedy and False Cure are the core of the deck, using Skyshroud Cutter, Invigorate, and Reverent Silence to have your opponent lose life rather than gain it. You can pop multiple copies of Remedy or Cure to increase the amount of life lost. Don't try both cards at once, though, since Cure only works when they actually *gain* the life and Remedy negates that.

At bare minimum you can kill an opponent on turn one with Overgrown Tomb, Dark Ritual, False Cure, and four Skyshroud Cutters/Reverent Silences. Same with two False Cures, two Cutters/Silences, Overgrown Tomb, a Swamp, and a Ritual. The likelihood of this happening is slim, though, but since there are multiple copies it crops up a little more frequently.

For obvious reasons, if you draw Remedy don't use Reverent Silence except as the killing blow. For that card specifically Cure is a better play.

Refreshing Rain can be brought in on the sideboard if you know you're going up against Black and Summoner's Pact is an expensive, yet useful tutor for getting Cutters out. Otherwise Rhystic Tutor is the cheaper and more reliable alternative.
