First front page deck :) Maybe now I can get some actual deck advice (please do not spam and beg for comments). Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks for viewing :)

Now that people will see this: Here is a message to all of MTGVault- Please do not whore for attention and just post a deck link on other decks. It is annoying and doesn't help the deck. It is annoying. Thank you :)

It's a control deck, so I don't think early creatures are needed. Any suggestions for them though?

I don't really see why it needs 25 Plains - but, otherwise, creative and fun deck.

I agree with what they said some one drop creatures would help doomed traveler would be an amazing addition both giving you a creature to block with then when it dies you get another

I agree. Mirror entity doesn't really feel too fitting--although I guess it works with Elspeth. A few more one or two drops might be good. What about angelic wall? just some blockers until you get your game set up.

This is a deck black-white deck i'm building. I'd appreciate comments. thanks!

I C, a lot of idiots put up their decks without a helping comment again... This site was built to let the players/builders help each other on perfecting their decks, not to hunt for front page... The most they said here was "Awesome deck, I like it" & than the deck link... worthless spamers...

About the deck: U have a lot of removal & mass removal as well along with huge creatures, that U could cast after U've played Wrath... Yosei is perfect with the mass destruction part, 'cuz it's triggered ability... The Avacyn - "Armageddon" combo usually won't happen'... U don't need 25 lands, just about 23 & some ramp instead, if U play Avacyn....

I think U should drop the wall... & drop the Automaton... I can't freakin' C how it fits the deck... U play few creatures & of different subtypes... The theme of the deck showes, that this was soppoused to be a dragon deck, but the only 1 U have is Yosei...

Drop some of your removal as well, than Put in some ramp...

So guyes... This is how it's done: Help the builder, whose deck U comment on & may be than post a link... :) ...

Here is the deck I play in todayes standard... I feel like it can't be perfected farther, but U might could help: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=343423

I agree with you Poet, but at least there are some of us that do post deck links because we actually are seeking help and feedback, rather than seeking front page or whatever.

I also agree with Poet about the Automatons. If anything I would go with Solemn Simulacrum for utility.

Anyway, if you've read this far, I'm looking for feedback on my EDH deck, specifically if you look at my first comment where I am contemplating using several other cards:

I think Galepowder Mage and/or Momentary Blink could help out in this deck. Both of these would be used for a combo with Solemn Simulacrum or Wall of Omens.

Take out 2 lands and put in 2 more Eternal Dragons
In addition, what are you going to do when somebody comes up to you with a token spam deck?

0

I'm just going to Wrath of God against tokens. I don't want to lower my land count to much and I don't think Eternal Dragon is good enough to be a 4-of.

Amazing deck, is good to see decks with original ideas now and then and not just the same old stuff.

Manaramp, you should really improve that buddy and I will give you some suggestions:
first off don't reduce too much the land count after all is a control deck not a freaking weenie deck.
-2 MindStone
-1 O-Ring
-1 Gideon Jura
+4 Land tax(combined with path to exile it gets stupid lol)
-1 Solemn simulacrum(sad robot is good but it's not a dragon you know)
+1 Eternal dragon (revives himself and cycle for plains what else do you want!!)
-1 Elspeth
+1 Plains

Control:
-3 Condem
+3 Terminus

Recycle:
-2 plains
+2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin (bring back two yosei and see what happens)

Check my angelic prison deck and let me know what you think: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=356502

Yes it does :)

The deck is much better now! :) ... The only concern is: "Terminus" doesn't kill your creatures, so U couldn't trigger Yoseis ability, or return Eternal after U play it... Use 4 Wrath instead...

Don't use "Dismember" in a deck U have no black mana, it cost U 4 lives every time, it's too much for a spell like that... I think U gonna' need 2 more Tax & -1 Stone, -1 "Condemn"...

Gideon is great, 'cuz it could become a creature & still U won't destroy it with Wrath, when it isn't, so don't drop it!!!!.. Drop the Elspeths & put in a 4th Eternal & a Ratchet... The 3rd Elspeth in the sides could be replaced with a 2nd Ratchet in case U play against a strong token deck... The 2 "Dismember" could be replaced with 2 "Nevermore"-s...

If U might drop the remeaning 1 "Mindstone", than U could put a "Nevermore" in the main deck as well... :) ...

...& there U go, comment number 400...... :)

Good catch with the Terminus Poet, I didn't realize when I suggested that card the lack of synergy with the other cards :S, 4th Wrath is the way to go.
Also you are right with Gideon way better than Elspeth for this deck and the land tax should go to 4.

racky54 add a few Witchbane Orb to SB, those are good against burn and mill.

I'm not sure if you know this or if they'd fit this style of deck, but white does have some counter spells:
Mana Tithe
Rebuff the Wicked
Dawn Charm
Lapse of Certainty

0

I was aware of Mana Tithe, but not the rest. I don't really like how conditional Rebuff the Wicked and Dawn Charm are. Lapse of Certainty just seems too expensive for its effect. Mana Tithe is a possibility, however.

I share your concern on the restrictions, but I do like Dawn Charm's versatility. I use it as a sideboard card in one of my decks as an extra 'fog', but I've found the other affects useful too.

Geez you took dragons and made them white and good too. The removal and control of this deck is legendary and yosei is amazing.

Also when you get a chance look at my green land ramp deck cuz it needs help.

Seems like a straight forward deck :P cheap exiles and all that. I am sure that every creaturebased deck will have problems against this deck, for it's great amount of creature control ^^ But I can see how it could struggle against, say, hexproof decks or against burn and such direct spell decks. Personally I think it's too straight forward kind of deck, but I'd had to see it in battle to be sure =)

Ah now that I checked your sideboard I see you atleast have the Witchbane Orb. Dunno if you'd like to throw a Leyline of Sanctity out there aswell?

i think i would -2 lands and +2 land tax? its too bad there arent more white dragons. ever think about splashing red? idk if that completely change the idea of your deck or not. its looks pretty fun to play though. ive always like to beatdown with a big creature. favorite way to win :D

if yourself or anyone else would mind giving me thoughts on my W/r humans that would be much appreciated!
