Deck Description

I really like Bant, but I think the counter-heavy builds got it wrong. We run the biggest dudes, we should be aggro-control, not control-aggro. Zenith is a real powerhouse, enabling both NO and SFM. Post SB, GSZ has tons of tricks avaliable to it

Deck discussion for Bant NO Zenith Excalibur

I like how you just sneak in Karakas like nobody would notice =P

I like this design a lot to be honest. I agree that Bant should lean more to aggro than control. =]

I build predominately control decks, so I still like running Daze and FoW, but this is one of the most interesting aggro decks I've seen.

On a build note; why only one stoneforge for your Excalibur package? I guess you're relying on your innate size advantage, rather than a boost?

Mainly because try as I may, I can't fit another in... maybe If I was to drop a Brainstorm? Ideally I wold have 2 SFM and 2 Equips I think

I think it would be beneficial to run two SFM as well, but I think I'd drop a pridemage for it instead of a brainstorm. I don't have my own legacy dedicated aggro deck, and especially not a Bant one, so I can't really say much, but that's the best thought I've had yet.

Yeah, with the amount of utility in the deck, you can more than afford to drop a Brainstorm for another SFM.
