Deck Description

Hello everyone, it's been a while, but I'm back! I have had a long, Internet-less vacation and spent a lot of time brewig. Here is the first deck I'm looking at: BUG Still. BUG Still is basically built to abuse Standstill, Life from the Loam, and Deed

Deck discussion for BUG Still

First thing that came to my mind when I looked at the deck:

So...yeah. That's basically my reaction to this. I love the design, but christ man I would want to smack you if I played against it.

I'm glad I can still deliver ^_^

Any changes you would make?

Geth's Verdict has a little bit more bastard crammed into it versus Diabolic Edict, other than that...not really.

Hmmm... That's close, I'll try the verdict

I like it, but being the kind of person I am, I think I'd rather see Daze here than Snare. I've always played against the landstill user, and I've never really had any problems in my decks from snare, so perhaps I'm biased by how I build.

I do love the idea of Landstill though, and this is unique for me as I always wind up seeing UW/x, so I'm not quite fully sure how to react. I think I find BUG more appropriate, and it runs my favourite piece of tech from old Dirt, so the playset of Deed alone would have gotten a plus one from me.

Only change I think I'd make is trading Smother for a second Dismember, or maybe since it's me a third Loam.

Daze is getting less effective as midrange decks are becoming more popular. Snare always hits... (I don't think I gotta go over the list with you).

I love BUG Landstill! And I'll try the dismember

Yeah, I guess. I guess I'm more suited for Daze because of the decks I run, which as expected have returned as the three from last year. Long live Reanimator, Lands, and Storm!

BUG Landstill is something I think I could tinker with, but I'd not be able to do it that great because my natural reaction to the deck is to make it more like one of my 36-Lands decks.

Reanimator... Someone showed on on mtgs with an interesting BG Aggro/Combo deck, I've tinkered with it and I'll post it if you like. Basic idea is Ooze combo powered by Reanimator, buried alive, and fauna shaman with an alternate plan of bloodghast/Vengevine Aggro powered via the same method. Then throw in Goyf, ramp, and hand disruption. Following a Thoughtseize on T1 by reanimating what you choose (Rhox, Iona, Regal Force, Tombstocker, etc) is a lot of fun. Sb has bob and a transform into NO Pro (only 7 spots with 3 bob and no Arbor)

Hmmm, while interesting, I somehow doubt it would do that well against the usual field of suspects. I did however see something on salvation that caught my eye, I think it was called 'the four horsemen'... Basically worked as an infinite dredge into a blasting station kill, cool stuff.

Yea, I saw that deck. It's interesting. I'll post the one I'm talking about, it's suprisingy good. T2 Thoughtseize->reanimate on Rhox, Phyrexian devourer, hero of bladehold, etc is really strong (duh?). U should definitely test the list out
