Thanks! This deck is based off what I read at: http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/legacy/22049_Climbing_The_Food_Chain_A_Grand_Prix_Providence_Top_64_Report.html

Except mine is better. Although he does have an epic quote.... "On turn 4, I cast Food Chain, which he wisely countered. On turn 5, I cast Food Chain, which he wisely countered. On turn 6, I cast Food Chain, and he misplayed by not having a third counter"

I'll admit, that's a hilarious quote =]

I wish I could give some advice/input pn this, but right now I'm a wink away from sleep and I'm strating to go crosseyed =/

Hmmm, so you draw off of your creature base, sacrifice them for mana, and repeat until Emracool... Neat.
I did a double take when I saw it, and definitely approve. I especially like the touch of the Symbiote.

Also, you people with your Stoneblade decks need to stop growing in numbers... It's simple enough to deal with, but it's downright obnoxious. Better than Fish though, maybe I'm just tired of seeing it(seven matches, two days)

In a happy world, the chain (sorry for the pun) goes:
Recruit->Recruit->Recruit->Recruit->Empath->Rune-Scarred Demon->Empath->Rune-Scarred Demon->Empath->Rune-Scarred Demon->Empath->Rune-Scarred Demon->Emmy

with each creature obviously fetching the following one. Symbiote, Fauna Shaman, etc can be used to go off in the face of hate, fetch a recruiter to go off, or go for the alt-wincon of VV beatdown.

I wish I could take credit, but they are not truely "my" StoneBlade decks. StoneBlade is an emerging archetype in legacy... those decks are just my take on them.

PS: I would appreciate any feedback on them

Pretty neat, and I know you didn't start the whole stoneblade thing, but you're a great force perpetuating it.

I commented what little input I could on them, I've not had much time with the deck. I've been using Dredge, so it didn't go very far.

So i dont know if im missing something but am i right in seeing that your only black mana source is from your birds?

Other than that seems like an amazingly exicuted concept.

with Food Chain I can get mana of any color, so I simply choose to gain black when exiling the Empath :) It is a beaut', I just wish I could find a way to make it work so that it doesn't have a 1k+ price tag (aka, replace Imperial Recruiter)

Except... he's completely useless. The way the combo works is you cast Recruit, grabbing another, and go through all of your recruits like this. Then you grab an Empath, then a Demon, then repeat through all your empaths and Demons. Then you cast Emrakul and win. Where is there room for this guy exactly?

for some reason i beleived that if you had one of the combo pieces in hand the combo wouldn't work. i guess i just wrote this way to late at night. though if you could somehow slide in a copy, it'd be kinda funny as he'd be a 13/13 and all of your creatures would pretty much be free.... but if you're planning this to be tournament quality, i definately understand the neglection of him. i also feel like survival of the fittest would be better than fauna shaman in here. you can use his ability imediatly if you have extra mana, and it is harder to remove.
other than that, awesome deck. sorry for the animar comment.
