A Selesnya deck I've made when Ravnica was first time around. With a the addition of Sigil Captain, when it got released.It had Armadillo Cloack instead of the sledge, but I've changed it in order to keep it modern.It's a bit fat, I know, but the mana ramp is 'nuff to don't let you down.
A perfect hand would play something like this:Turn 1 - Mana, Birds, go.Turn 2 - Watchwolf/Fertile Ground/Selesnya Evangel. Don't hesitate to play the Fists in a 1/1 creature that your opponents own. It'll give you 2 tokens that you'll use to convoke.Turn 3 - You should be able to cast the Hydra by now. If not, Sigil Captain is your friend. Don't forget to make tokens with the Evangel. And to Scatter the Seeds.Turn 4 - By now you should be able do convoke/hard cast the Root-kin. Turn 5 - Time to strike hard with Pollenbright wings. It combos really nice with the Root-kin. Swing it 'till death occours. Double its power with every attack.
