If you add bear umbra, you can set up an infinite attack combo with the Hellkite Charger =)

is this deck only allowed to have alara block? Amulet of Vigor is perfect for the tri-lands, or replace w easier to use dual lands from m10 and add fertile ground

yea i was thinking about that, counter decks and heavy removal will kill this idea. My side-board would have to compensate this, so i'll start developing one =)

I love G/B decks, the 2 perfect colors to essentially do everything, whether its destroy a creature or enchantment or artifact, gain or make someone lose life, or play a big creature, even counter something! But there is one thing missing that will be the bane of this color scheme..Mass board removal. Any kind of wrath or planar cleansing or martial coup will ruin this setup, which is one of the top decks around now next to mythic and jund. As much as i like it, i don't think this will do extremely well in standard. Anything that moves faster will have a 1-up on the steadily shrinking board you push at your opponent, and any black decks you come against will put dead cards in your hand. Def needs power cards and planeswalkers =(

Using multiple colors doesnt necessarily stress the deck or drop efficiency, that only happens when the right synergy of mana production isn't present. There are plenty of green creatures out there that can generate off colors, and many of them are elves and some are in T2. The Feral Hydra may be a nice addition, seeing as how he can be pumped even after he has been put into play, and trample action would always be nicely added to any green deck, i.e overrun (or garruk since plainswalkers are always amazing power cards / shields). Keep at it, all decks have their chance at being competition level =)

I do like this deck, it looks very versatile..but what exactly is it doing? It seems to want to be part landfall, part beatdown, part burn, but lacks a final drop for any of those areas. It has speed, which is good and a grixis/destroy creature control. I would find a way to add Voracious Dragon for all those good old goblins, more destroy if needed, and it adds in excellent direct dmg to the player. I would also change the grimblades with another multicolor creature, maybe the 3/1 trample Goblin Deathraiders. The Hellkite Chargers look unneeded in the sideboard, no mana ramping makes his 7 mana cost ability a bit steep when compared to needing mana to remove something from the board (he is best used with the new Bear Umbra for unlimited attacks). Keep up with this deck for sure, this has alot of fun and even tournament potential in my eyes =)

I see, very interesting indeed, you can target yourself and still choose to not remove all from a hidden zone. very nice, I may have to use this in another deck idea i have >.>

The only problem I see is that Extripate takes all the rats from everywhere, even your hand. Other than that, def looks like much fun =)

Comet Storm would be the better choice imo, since you are running green instead of the usual white. Here's a link to my W/R defender deck w a little added surprise

Its actually not very hard at all, especially how my friends and i play in our multi-player magic games. By turn 5 its already moving and has defended any truly relevant attack thats come upon it
