This deck uses the whole "power in numbers" idea, but I wanted to use creatures to power up my troops in a way other than simply having a lot of them. Champ and Unruly mob lets you get counters from Thatcher Revolt both when the creatures enter the battlefield and when they leave. Goldnight and Kruin Striker also provide power just by summoning creatures, regardless how long they stay on the board. Also, I'd like to play Angel of Jubilation and Cathar's Crusade, but not sure what to drop. I'm used to playing casual, so any advice for building in standard would be greatly appreciated.
This deck is made to benefit from summoning creatures, even if they don't stay on the board for long. I set up with Champ and cards like Goldnight Commander before dropping tokens if possible to reap the maximum benefit from summoning creatures. Unruly Mob serves to get a sort of rebate from losing creatures, so I can swing with all my creatures. If there's too many to block, damage will go through, and I still get a side benefit even though creatures are lost. Nearheath Pilgrim is just to give some life gain, and if the situation is right, I can gain 10 life in a turn (if it's soulbound to a creature with Goldnight on the board and playing Increasing Devotion, or just being soulbound to Champ period). Odric and Mizzium Mortars make sure the damage gets through, and Rootborn Defenses will keep my creatures alive and give another creature to boot.Like I said in the description, any advice for the deck build or play strategy would be greatly appreciated since I have little experience building and playing in standard.
