Deck Description

My take on a white/red human deck.

It ramps very quickly, especially if you get champion down in turn 1, and all those tokens can do some serious damage with a little help from Accorder + Hero + Automaton.

Ideal start:

Turn 1: plains + champion
Turn 2: land + townsfolk + attack (3 damage)
Turn 3: land + silverblade + attack (10 damage)
Turn 4: Automaton + attack (22 damage)

That's a potential 35 damage by turn 4, and its just one of many ways you can finish the game early.

Also Lavamancer + Pillar + O-ring + Bonfire combine for a decent amount of removal, which will help keep opponents in check.

Deck discussion for Humans everywhere (M12 standard)

Great deck. I've seen a lot of takes on G/W and R/W humans lately. You've built an interesting spin on it with the Lavamancer and control. I like that it's standard as well. Did you consider replacing the O Rings with Fiend Hunters? They're somewhat more fragile, but they'd add to your human creatures. Please take a look at my deck, Mono White Humans and Angels. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=344648

I did consider that, but like you said they're more fragile, and I use the O-ring in large part because it adds flexibility by also being able to take out artifact and enchantments if needed.
